The MVP Entropy is an overstable putt-and-approach disc in MVP's 10.5mm putter class, rated 4/3/0/3.[1] MVP designed it for flights with reserved glide and a dependable finishing fade, billing it as the overstable workhorse putter GYRO fans had been waiting for — a go-to approach disc and high-wind putter with premium grip and durability.[1] Like all MVP discs it uses the brand's GYRO overmold technology, pairing a lighter core with a heavier outer rim.[1]

Flight numbers describe the published behavior of the disc when thrown at its design speed. Real-world flight varies with plastic, weight, age, and thrower power. The community-averaged numbers above reflect crowd-sourced observations from real throws — typically slightly more understable than the manufacturer's published values, which is the most consistent pattern across nearly every commercial mold.

The Entropy fills the Zone/Harp slot in an MVP-centric bag: torque-proof approaches, windy putts, and short controlled drives that need to fade and stop rather than glide past the basket.[1][4] Its reserved glide makes distance control easy on touch shots, and the overstable finish holds up for forehands.[1] MVP produces it in Neutron, Cosmic Neutron, Plasma, and Electron plastics, with Electron softs suiting putting duty.[1]

History

The Entropy was PDGA-approved on February 27, 2019 (certification 19-20)[2][3] and debuted that April in Neutron plastic as MVP's first dedicated overstable workhorse putter in the 10.5mm class.[1][5] MVP later expanded it into Cosmic Neutron and Plasma — the Plasma run arriving with the claim that the Entropy was ready to be disc golf's premier overstable putter — and into Electron blends with a May 2024 stock release.[1] Retailers note it is a favorite overstable putter of 2021 World Champion James Conrad, who has thrown it heavily off the tee.[5]
