The Axiom Paradox is a very understable midrange with official flight numbers of 5 / 4 / -4 / 0.[1][3] Axiom markets it as an ultra-understable mold built to turn on command, and reviewers call it one of the most understable midranges available, capable of long turnovers, rollers, and distinctive anhyzer lines.[3][4] Because it is built on MVP/Axiom's GYRO overmold platform, it pairs a low-fade rim with a stable overmold to produce big turn without dumping hard at the end.[1] It is especially popular with newer and lower-power players who want easy distance and forgiving, glidey turnover flights.[3][4]

History

The Paradox was PDGA-approved on July 5, 2021 under certification number 21-71.[2] It was released by Axiom+Discs">Axiom Discs, the vibrant-colored sibling brand within the MVP+Disc+Sports">MVP Disc Sports family, which shares MVP's GYRO dual-material overmold technology.[1][2] The Paradox filled the very-understable end of Axiom's midrange range, giving beginners and finesse throwers a mold dedicated to easy turn and glide.[3][4] PDGA records list a maximum weight of 178.5g with a 21.5cm diameter and a 1.3cm rim.[2] Since its release it has been produced in Axiom's Neutron, Proton, Proton Soft, and Cosmic Neutron plastics and is frequently recommended as an approachable understable midrange for developing players.[1][4]
