History

The Tactic was PDGA-approved on January 16, 2020 (certification 20-02) and first released on April 14, 2020 in Exo Hard and Exo Soft plastic as part of Discmania's Evolution line.[3][1] Discmania is a Finnish-founded brand that for years distributed discs manufactured by Innova before building out its own Evolution and Originals lines of in-house molds; the Tactic sits in the Evolution family alongside molds such as the Instinct, Essence and MD4.[1] It filled the overstable throwing-putter niche in Discmania's lineup, competing directly with molds like the Discraft Zone and Westside Harp, and has remained a staple approach putter for the brand.[1][2]
