History

The Deputy was PDGA-approved on February 22, 2017 (certification 17-15).[2] It was designed as the understable counterpart to Dynamic Discs' popular Judge and Warden putters, giving the brand's Trilogy lineup a dedicated turnover and hyzer-flip putt-and-approach option.[1] Dynamic Discs, based in Emporia, Kansas, is part of the Trilogy group alongside Latitude 64 and Westside+Discs">Westside Discs, and manufactures the Deputy in the same plastics as its sibling putters.[1][2] The mold has remained a staple of the brand's putter range and is frequently recommended as a beginner putter because of how easily it turns over and glides.[1][3]
